Trial by Jury
We have just finished a wonderful run of "Trial by Jury". We had a wonderful reception from all the churches in which we performed - and a specially warm reception on the last night (29 June) - this was due to the outside temperatures hitting the mid 30s. However, we carried on and did a magnificent performance - probably the best of all.
Everyone worked extremely hard to make these shows the high standard that we are used to. Singing was first class and many favourable comments were received from the audiences at each of the venues.
A special vote of thanks should go to our guest artiste - Alison Charlton-West - a former member of the famous D'Oyly Carte Opera Company. Alison sang "'Tis done! I am a bride" from Yeomen of the Guard and "Minerva" from Princess Ida.
We hope that all those who attended the performances enjoyed them as much as the Company enjoyed performing them.
